Money Train 5 slot: the short version
• 96.10% RTP, very high volatility, 40 paylines on a 5x4 grid
• 50,000x cap in Standard Mode, 100,000x in Ultra Mode
• Bonus round from 3 scatters, each adding a multiplier and 3 spins
• Free spins buy at 100x, Super Free Spins at 500x from Station 15
• Nuclear Wild can land on any base spin and expand into full wild reels
The setting is a scorched wasteland with an armoured locomotive cutting through it, and the cast has grown with every sequel. Four high symbols drive the grid: the Payer, the Sniper, the Collector and the Necromancer, joined inside the bonus by Ticket Master, Bomber and Pyromancer. Four card suits fill the low end, paying left to right across 40 lines.
Relax Gaming shipped the first Money Train in 2019 and has kept one skeleton since: a persistent-symbol bonus where values collect and then multiply. Money Train 5 adds the Hot Zone, the fifth grid row and a deeper Station ladder, and its 24 September 2026 release makes it the newest build in the series.

How the Money Train 5 bonus round works
Three or more bonus symbols open the round. Every symbol that triggered it hands over a cash multiplier and three spins, so a four-scatter start is both longer and heavier than the minimum trigger. The counter resets to three whenever a fresh special symbol lands, which is how a nine-spin round turns into a thirty-spin one.
Special symbols stay where they land. The Payer adds its own value to everything else on screen, the Collector pulls values into itself, the Sniper fires at random positions and the Necromancer brings back symbols that have already paid. Values are added, then multiplied, then collected in that order, so where a symbol sits matters more than how many landed.
The round closes when the spin counter empties, and everything on the grid pays at the multiplier reached. Standard Mode stops at 50,000x, Ultra Mode at 100,000x, and touching either ceiling ends the round immediately.
Station milestones in Money Train 5
Progress inside the bonus is tracked on a Station ladder, and four milestones rewrite the rules while the round is still running. Station 5 makes symbols persistent, Station 10 adds the fifth grid row, Station 15 brings in the Bomber and the Pyromancer, and Station 20 switches on the Permanent Payer.
The Bomber multiplies every visible value by x2, x3, x4 or x5. The Pyromancer burns a fixed Hot Zone into the grid, where special symbols turn persistent and bonus values count double. From Station 20 the Permanent Payer keeps adding to the board for the rest of the round, and that combination is where five-figure multipliers come from.

A Super Free Spins purchase at 500x the stake starts the round at Station 15, so the Bomber and the Pyromancer are live from the first spin.
Standard Mode and Ultra Mode in Money Train 5
Standard Mode is the default setting. Swings are narrower in relative terms, the 50,000x cap sits within reach of a very long session, and the bonus round delivers mid-sized results more often. It suits a bankroll that has to survive a few hundred spins.
Ultra Mode trades frequency for ceiling. The cap doubles to 100,000x, the bonus pays on a different curve and dry stretches run longer. At EUR 0.10 a spin Ultra is a cheap ticket to a very large tail; at EUR 20 it is a short session with the same tail and a far bigger bill.
Buying free spins in Money Train 5
Free Spins can be bought for 100x the stake and start the round at Station 0. Super Free Spins cost 500x and begin at Station 15, with the Bomber and the Pyromancer already unlocked. At EUR 1 a spin those purchases cost EUR 100 and EUR 500, and at the EUR 0.10 minimum they cost EUR 10 and EUR 50.
Bonus buys are switched off in some jurisdictions and while bonus funds are in play, so the button can be missing even when the game itself loads normally.

Money Train 5 features and mechanics
Nuclear Wild
Lands on any base spin, locks onto reels and detonates into full wild reels. It is the one base-game event that pays without the bonus round.
Bonus trigger
Three or more bonus symbols open the round. Each contributes a cash multiplier and three spins, so a four-scatter start runs longer and heavier than the minimum.
Persistent symbols
From Station 5 special symbols stay where they land for the rest of the round, which is how collect-and-multiply chains build.
Extra grid row
Station 10 adds a fifth row, taking the layout to 5x5 and giving the Collector and the Payer more positions to work with.
Bomber
From Station 15 the Bomber multiplies every value visible on the grid by x2, x3, x4 or x5 at the moment it fires.
Pyromancer and Hot Zone
From Station 15 a fixed Hot Zone is burned into the grid. Special symbols landing inside it turn persistent and bonus values inside it are doubled.
Permanent Payer
From Station 20 a Payer stays active for the remainder of the round, adding to the board on every spin.
Standard and Ultra Mode
Standard caps at 50,000x with narrower swings; Ultra caps at 100,000x and trades mid-sized results for the longer tail.
Bonus buy
Free Spins cost 100x the stake from Station 0, Super Free Spins cost 500x and begin at Station 15.

Where to play Money Train 5
• Licensed euro sites carrying the Relax Gaming catalogue: SEPA Instant deposits from EUR 10 and payouts inside 30 minutes
• Crypto-friendly rooms: Bitcoin, Tether, Ethereum and Litecoin from around EUR 20 equivalent
• The free demo on this page: Full game on play credits, both modes, no deposit
Bankroll and stake planning for Money Train 5
• Stake size decides the session, not the mode you pick. Forty paylines at EUR 0.10 costs EUR 60 for 600 spins, which is roughly the horizon a very high variance slot needs before its bonus round shows what it does. The same 600 spins at EUR 2 cost EUR 1,200 and will not trigger more often.
• Bonus buys look efficient and are not a discount. A 100x purchase prices one round at its long-run average, so twenty purchases burn 2,000x the stake while the 96.10% figure stays exactly where it was. The 500x Super purchase buys a Station 15 start with the Bomber and Pyromancer live, which shortens the climb rather than improving the odds.
• Set the ceiling before the first spin. Licensed euro rooms let you cap what goes in, cap what you are willing to lose, have the lobby remind you how long you have been playing, or lock the account for a fixed stretch, and Gambling Therapy offers free multilingual help if play stops being a hobby. The EUR 5 bet cap that comes with the welcome bonus is a hard rule, so plan the wagering at EUR 0.40 to EUR 1 a spin rather than at the EUR 20 maximum.

“Took the 100x buy on Money Train 5 eleven times at EUR 0.20 a spin before anything happened, then a Station 17 round with the Bomber on a x4 paid 1,840x. Deposited with SEPA Instant and the payout was back in my account in about twenty minutes. The fifth row from Station 10 genuinely changes how the Collector behaves.”

“I prefer Standard Mode here. Ultra Mode ate 300 spins at EUR 0.40 without a single trigger, which is fair for a 100,000x cap but not much fun on a Tuesday. One thing I would fix: the Hot Zone is hard to read on a phone in portrait. The 200 free spins from the welcome offer cleared fine, and Revolut paid out the next morning.”

“Money Train 4 was already good, but the Permanent Payer at Station 20 makes the fifth one the better game by a distance. My best round came from a four-scatter start, which gives you twelve spins instead of nine and far more room for the Necromancer to work. Tether withdrawals land in a couple of minutes.”

“Played the free demo for two evenings before putting money in, which I recommend to anyone meeting the Station ladder for the first time. The 10% weekly cashback returned EUR 46 after a bad week, credited on the Monday as promised. Nuclear Wild has hit three times for me in roughly 2,000 base spins, so do not build a session around it.”

Money Train 5 slot FAQ
What is the RTP of Money Train 5?+
Money Train 5 returns 96.10% on its headline configuration, which Relax Gaming publishes with the game. Operators may licence alternative RTP builds, so read the number printed in the in-game paytable before you spin: that is the configuration your session runs on.
Is Money Train 5 high volatility?+
Volatility is very high in both settings. Standard Mode is the lower-variance option with a 50,000x cap, while Ultra Mode doubles the ceiling to 100,000x and makes dry stretches longer. Neither setting pays regularly enough to suit a short bankroll.
Where can I play the Money Train 5 demo for free?+
The free demo sits on this page and loads the full Relax Gaming client on play credits, with no sign-up and no deposit. Every mechanic behaves as it does for money, including both modes and the Station ladder, so it is the cheapest way to learn the bonus round.
What is the max win on Money Train 5?+
The cap is 50,000x the stake in Standard Mode and 100,000x in Ultra Mode. At the EUR 20 maximum spin those figures read as EUR 1,000,000 and EUR 2,000,000. Reaching either ceiling ends the bonus round on the spot.
How does the Money Train 5 bonus round work?+
Three or more bonus symbols start it, and each triggering symbol hands over a cash multiplier plus three spins. Special symbols stick where they land and reset the counter to three, so values collect, multiply and pay out together when the spins run out.
Can you buy free spins in Money Train 5?+
Free Spins cost 100x the stake and start at Station 0, while Super Free Spins cost 500x and begin at Station 15 with the Bomber and Pyromancer already active. At EUR 1 a spin that is EUR 100 and EUR 500, and buying does not change the 96.10% figure.
What do the Station milestones unlock in Money Train 5?+
Station 5 makes symbols persistent, Station 10 adds a fifth row to the grid, Station 15 brings in the Bomber and the Pyromancer, and Station 20 switches on the Permanent Payer. Those four steps are where five-figure multipliers start appearing.
What is the Hot Zone in Money Train 5?+
The Hot Zone is a fixed block of positions burned onto the grid by the Pyromancer from Station 15. Special symbols landing inside it become persistent for the rest of the round, and any bonus value inside it counts double.
What bonus can I claim for Money Train 5 play?+
A first deposit from EUR 20 is matched 100% to a maximum of EUR 500 and adds 200 free spins on Money Train 5. Wagering is 35x the bonus over 30 days, with each bet capped at EUR 5 while that balance is live.
Which payment methods work for real-money Money Train 5 spins?+
Cards run on debit Visa and Mastercard, with Apple Pay and Google Pay for phone checkouts, Skrill, Neteller and MiFinity on the wallet side, Trustly plus SEPA Instant and classic SEPA for banks, Revolut, paysafecard, and four coins including Bitcoin and Tether. EUR 10 is the usual floor; Trustly, MiFinity and crypto ask for EUR 20.
How fast are withdrawals after a Money Train 5 session?+
SEPA Instant returns money inside 30 minutes, cards and Revolut in 1 to 24 hours, Skrill and Neteller between instantly and 24 hours, MiFinity in 12 to 24 hours and crypto in 1 to 60 minutes depending on the coin. Classic SEPA takes 1 to 3 business days.
Is real-money play on Money Train 5 legal in Europe?+
Yes. Online play in euros is a regulated activity across European markets, supervised nationally by authorities such as the MGA in Malta and GRAI in Ireland. Money Train 5 is supplied by Relax Gaming to operators working inside that frame, and this site runs under a generic international Curacao licence.
